Engr. Adewuyi Adetogun Graduated from St. John’s Grammar School, Oke-Atan, Ile Ife in the year 1984. He is a graduate of Civil Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University. A professional Civil Engineer of over 30 years in the construction industry, a registered professional with Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN), and Nigeria Institute of Civil Engineers. He motivated his 1979/84 set to renovate and furnished the school library in 2019. He also led his set to construct Rev. Fr. Fabian Cloutier Boulevard to mark the set 40 years of graduation from the school. Adewuyi Adetogun is a founding chairman of SJOBA Abuja chapter. He led the Abuja Chapter to donate 500kva Transformer to serve the school and the entire Oke-Atan Community. He is a member of Ife Development Board and an ordained Minister at Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria.

Social Secretary Oluwasanjo Shobowale, a graduate of St. John’s Grammar School Ile-Ife and Ogun State Polytechnic Abeokuta was born on the 13th of July 1965. Graduated in the year 1983. He is presently the MD/CEO of FORTIFIED CITY LIMITED, a civil engineering/real estate firm located in the heart of Ikeja in Lagos. He is also the Chief Operating Officer of Bluwaterpools, a swimming pool construction company and Royal Priesthood Resources Limited (A procurement company located in Lagos). Sanjo as fondly called by his cradle friends was a trainee of Desjouyaux France under the famous La-Campagne Tropicana and Tropicana Spas and Pools Adeniyi Jones Avenue Ikeja before he left to start his own business. Oluwasanjo is married and blessed with two children, MOJETOLUWA and OMOMOROWA.

The days of interrupted lessons and “light out” are officially a thing of the past. St. John’s Old Boys Association (SJOBA) has officially handed over a state-of-the-art solar energy system to their alma mater. We didn’t just bring “light”, we brought a powerhouse. This installation is a solution designed to meet the school’s growing energy demands. SJOBA 1982 set went all out to donate to the school’s Administrative block; A high-efficiency solar-inverter system, A massive 10kVA Lithium Battery bank- offering faster charging and longer life cycles than traditional setups, 16 high-performance 16kWh Solar Panels now blanket the roof, capturing the sun’s energy to power a brighter tomorrow. This project is a testament to what happens when the “Old Boys” unite with a single vision. It is more than just hardware; it is an investment in the next generation of leaders, scientists, and creatives who will walk these halls. This isn’t just a donation, it is a gift of uninterrupted learning and modernization. To the 1982 set who made this possible, we say a very big thank you. UT DILIGATIS INVICEM.
