The wave of sustainable progress continues! In another incredible demonstration of SJOBA’s dedication and vision, a new solar infrastructure donation has officially been established by 1974/79 set. Following our previous clean energy milestones, this latest contribution to the school’s Library block adds an advanced solar panel array and a high-capacity lithium battery to further boost our power capacity. The donation includes: Installation of a 15kw_h lithium battery to be charged by energy harvested with 18 no 600watts solar panels; Installation of an adequate Thunder Arrestor; Installation of 2 units of inverter compatible Air conditioners, installation of two fans in the Assembly Hall to replace the bad ones, and Installation of a charge controller for optimum charging of the battery. Engr. Adewuyi Adetogun – Profile
Engr. Adewuyi Adetogun Graduated from St. John’s Grammar School, Oke-Atan, Ile Ife in the year 1984. He is a graduate of Civil Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University. A professional Civil Engineer of over 30 years in the construction industry, a registered professional with Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN), and Nigeria Institute of Civil Engineers. He motivated his 1979/84 set to renovate and furnished the school library in 2019. He also led his set to construct Rev. Fr. Fabian Cloutier Boulevard to mark the set 40 years of graduation from the school. Adewuyi Adetogun is a founding chairman of SJOBA Abuja chapter. He led the Abuja Chapter to donate 500kva Transformer to serve the school and the entire Oke-Atan Community. He is a member of Ife Development Board and an ordained Minister at Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria.

Mrs. Hartley Sutton, an English graduate from (B.A.) from Singapore, initially served as a senior tutor. she later became Vice principal, working alongside the Principal, Rev. Fr. Clouthier, who headed the institution as Principal until 1977.

Social Secretary Oluwasanjo Shobowale, a graduate of St. John’s Grammar School Ile-Ife and Ogun State Polytechnic Abeokuta was born on the 13th of July 1965. Graduated in the year 1983. He is presently the MD/CEO of FORTIFIED CITY LIMITED, a civil engineering/real estate firm located in the heart of Ikeja in Lagos. He is also the Chief Operating Officer of Bluwaterpools, a swimming pool construction company and Royal Priesthood Resources Limited (A procurement company located in Lagos). Sanjo as fondly called by his cradle friends was a trainee of Desjouyaux France under the famous La-Campagne Tropicana and Tropicana Spas and Pools Adeniyi Jones Avenue Ikeja before he left to start his own business. Oluwasanjo is married and blessed with two children, MOJETOLUWA and OMOMOROWA.

Financial Secretary Akintilebo Festus Olawale attended the prestigious St. John’s Grammar School, Ile-Ife (1992 – 1998). He then proceeded to The Polytechnic, Ibadan, where he earned his ND and HND in Civil Engineering. He has over two decades of experience in fingerprint and handwriting analysis, working with the EFCC and the Nigeria Police Force. Akintilebo Festus Olawale is married with lovely kids.
